This product is a no nonsense golf GPS. Provides everything you need, yaradage, score tracker and the ability to put in your own targets (very easy!). Plus there is no annual or monthly renewal fee. I did a lot of research before buying the Golf Buddy, and even though there are some out there that have a few more bells and whistles having no fees trumped them all. To my knowledge this is the only golf GPS range finder that does not have any fees.

Great product from nikon, very dependable, highly accurate and worth every penny for that can’t miss shot. When something BIG is on the line you don’t want to second guess your distance. I love the waterproof feature of this finder, when you pay up to 0 for something like this you don’t want it ruined by rain, and conversely you want to be able to use it on those foggy/drizzly days without fear of breaking it. The nikon is also fairly shock proof, I’ve dropped it from tree stands before (just once actually) and not so much as a scratch on it and everything worked great, not sure I’d do it again, but it was nice to know that when accidents happen the build quality will help you greatly. Another nice feature is the battery save and the scanning/sweeping mode. Just pick one of these up in your hand and you can tell it’s not some cheap piece of junk. Money well spent. Have has mine 2 years and would buy another but I’m pretty sure this one will last until they don’t make batteries for it anymore…

Great rangefinder! I purchased it from Amazon last week and took it to the course today. The GX-II was easy to set up and learn how to use. On the first hole I was using it instead of looking around for ranges on sprinkler heads. My speed of play was much better and so was my score. I shot 2 stokes better today and I attribute it directly to better club selection. The true golf range feature helped me determine exactly what club I needed to use. Another point to make is that a buddy golfing with me had one of the high end Bushnell rangefinders and a half dozen times we checked ranges together and they matched to the yard each time. Even with ranges over 225 yards. Great product!

The binoculars and excellent, but a notch below the ultravid. The rangefinder is good, but from my testing against the 1200, not really better. Light flat objects can be ranged up to 1000 yards, but darker objects loose the ability to be ranged around 500 yards.
