Leupold Rx-Iii Digital Rangefinder Monocular 61465 Overview

8x magnification gives you plenty of power, with a wide field of view to track movement. Rugged, waterproof construction. Scan mode continuously updates the range as you track a target or scan an area. The precision thermometer gives you digital readings in ¿C or ¿F. Accurate to 1,200 yards, with measurements in feet, yards, or meters. The Quick Set Rotary Menu® is easy to use, for fast customization of your RX-III. Also includes the Quick Start Mode. With a built-in inclinometer, the RX-III calculates the ballistics range to your target, then displays it as a holdover aim point, an MOA adjustment, or the equivalent horizontal distance. Battery power indicator for easy battery level checks. The common CR2 lithium camera battery is easy to change in the field. Multiple Ballistics Settings¿RX rangefinders with True Ballistic Range (TBR®) provide accurate aiming information matched to the performance of your rifle or bow. By calculating the incline, line of sight range to the target, and a projectile¿s ballistics, your RX provides rifle hunters using Leupold Ballistics Aiming System¿ reticles as well as bow hunters the correct equivalent horizontal distance for precise shooting on an incline. In other words, aim using the True Ballistic Range, not the line of sight range. Rifle hunters can also get this data as an MOA adjustment or a holdover point. With practice, long distance/steep angle shooting will become second nature. Dial in your RX to one of seven TBR ballistics settings for the rifle and three for the bow for incredible accuracy. TBR is effective to 800 yards for most rifle cartridges.

Leupold Rx-Iii Digital Rangefinder Monocular 61465 Specifications

Close enough simply isn’t good enough for Leupold, and probably not for you, either. Fortunately, Leupold’s line of digital rangefinders offers features and performance unmatched in other optics. The highly accurate RX-III rangefinder offers precision ranging out to 1,200 yards, helping make up the difference between a hit and a miss. The RX-III does more than just deliver the straight-line distance, however, as the tool also employs True Ballistic Range (TBR) technology to match the aiming information to the performance of your rifle or bow. By calculating the incline, line-of-sight range to the target, and a projectile’s ballistics, the RX-III provides both rifle and bow hunters the correct equivalent horizontal distance for precise shooting on an incline. In other words, you’ll aim using the True Ballistic Range rather than the line-of-sight range. With practice, long-distance and/or steep angle shooting will become second nature. Simply dial in your RX-III to one of seven TBR ballistic settings for your rifle and three for the bow to enjoy incredible accuracy (TBR is effective to 800 yards for most rifle cartridges).

The Match 13 reticle system gives you fast access to each reticle.

The RX-III rangefinder also lets you do something you can’t do with any non-RX series rangefinder–use multiple modes at once to tailor your readings to the conditions. For example, are you scouting a whitetail in the rain? Use the Rain mode and 1st Target mode at the same time to achieve the most accurate range possible. Only RX series rangefinders give you the ability to adapt to changing conditions like this. Plus, Leupold’s exclusive Quick Set Rotary Menu is intuitive and easy to use, giving you fast access to all the incredible performance modes of the RX-III rangefinder.

Perhaps the most useful customizable feature of the RX-III, however, is the Match 13 reticle system, which gives you fast access to each of the finder’s 13 reticles. As a result, you’ll always have the right reticle for any situation. In addition, each reticle is available with the Leupold Plus Point, giving you an added level of accuracy when pinpointing a target. Other features include a built-in inclinometer, which calculates the ballistics range to your target, then displays it as a holdover aim point, an MOA adjustment, or the equivalent horizontal distance; an 8x magnification level, with a wide field of view to track movement; a scan mode that continuously updates the range as you track a target or scan an area; a precision thermometer that gives you digital readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit; a battery power indicator for easy battery level checks; a common CR2 lithium camera battery that changes easily in the field; a rugged, waterproof construction; and a matte black finish.

The RX-III rangefinder comes with a useful carrying case with a bungee/hook closure for silent operation in the field, a dog clip for attaching to your pack, and an internal pocket for carrying batteries, instructions, and other items. The rangefinder also offers a tripod thread, so you can keep it steady when acquiring your target. The RX-III rangefinder caries a one-year warranty on the internal electronics.

About Leupold
From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew–based on a promise of quality–to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.

During Leupold’s second half-century, the company focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold’s presence in the hunting and shooting market expanded with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry’s standards–nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex reticle, and more–were Leupold creations.

Nikon Team Realtree Laser800 Range Finder Review

>>>> Buy Low Prices From Here Now ! <<<<

Great rangefinder for hunting and golf although I primarily use it on the golf course, even though I have a UPro which I also like. You can scope the flag and get the distance to the pin, or if you are having trouble keeping the crosshairs steady, pan the flag and watch for the yardage change, the lowest will be the distance to the flag. Easy and quick to use, I like the x6 magnification. The Nikons size is comfortable to stow in your bag or cart and fits in your hand comfortably. I wear sunglasses and can read the yardages easily without having to remove them. I recommend this rangefinder and am very happy I purchased it.

  • Fully waterproof and fogproof; measures 1.5 x 2.8 x 5 inches (W x H x D); weighs 7.4 ounces

Nikon Team Realtree Laser800 Range Finder Overview

This is the rangefinder that changed it all. Introduced in 2004, the Monarch Laser800 launched Nikon’s advanced Tru-Target TM (TT) Ranging System–which allows you to prioritize smaller and harder to range lone targets at the push of a button–or distant targets in typical hunting situations. The palm-sized, 7.4 ounce Laser800 offers incredibly fast, precise, 1/2-yard accuracy up to 400 yards and consistent one-yard accurate readings out to 800 yards–thanks to Nikon’s digital measurement process. Notable features include backlit LCD display, 6-power multicoated optics, an eyeglass-friendly 18mm of eye relief with focusing diopter, scanning capability and a selectable backlighting feature. In the world of rangefinders, the Monarch Laser800 if the obvious choice for most hunting. Guaranteed waterproof and fogproof. CR2 Lithium battery included. Tripod adaptable.

Nikon Team Realtree Laser800 Range Finder Specifications

Originally introduced in 2004, the Team Realtree Laser800 range finder launched Nikon’s advanced Tru-Target ranging system, which lets users prioritize smaller and harder-to-range lone targets at the push of a button. The palm-sized Laser800 relies on Nikon’s digital measurement processor for its precision, ensuring speedy 1/2-yard accuracy to within 400 yards and consistent 1-yard readings out to 800 yards. On the other end of the spectrum, the unit can range as close as 11 yards, so you aren’t restricted to long-distance targets only. Add in such features as six-power multicoated optics, an eyeglass-friendly 18mm of eye relief (with focusing diopter), and a backlit LCD display and you have a comfortable, powerful range finder that leaves its competitors in the dust.

The Laser800 is also fully waterproof and fogproof, so you needn’t leave it behind on soggy mornings. Other details include a reticle backlighting option that lights the display in dim conditions, a unique reticle that notifies the user when ranging is in progress, a Realtree Hardwoods housing in a camo color, and a 3-volt lithium battery.
